A Crisis Center for Victims of Domestic Violence will work in Rousse

This was made clear during the final press conference on the project "Crisis Center on the territory of the Municipality of Rousse for victims of gender-based gender violence and provision of services in it".

The event was attended by the project manager and director of the Public Order and Security Directorate, Mr. Dimitar Dimitrov, the Director of the Health and Social Activities Directorate Mariela Licheva, the Executive Director of Caritas - Rousse Stefan Markov, as well as the project contributors. During the meeting with the media Mariela Licheva shared that the Municipality of Rousse is committed to sustainable growth, as part of her development vision is the construction of the Crisis Center for Victims of Domestic Violence - a service with good facilities, meeting all the social standards. Dimitrov presented the main goals and activities of the project, which is implemented in partnership with the Rousse Catholic Organization - Caritas. Construction and assembly activities were carried out providing premises for 16 people, including a reception room; Bedrooms - 8; living room; Laundry room for washing, drying and ironing; Warehouse; doctor's office; Psychiatrist's office / psychiatrist; Security room and courtyard. The complex offers timely, comprehensive, competent and professional help to the people, providing a safe and secure environment for recovery and a complex of social, psychological, medical, legal and family counseling and reintegration assistance in society, the participants assured.

The project for "Crisis Center on the territory of Rousse Municipality for Victims of Domestic Violence and Gender-Based Violence and Provision of Services in It" is financed under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014. Its total value is BGN 1 338 046,01 with VAT.
