For the period of its activity from 1.05.2016 until now, Crisis Center for Persons / Wives, Parents and Children / Victims of Domestic Violence in Ignatievo gave shelter and support to 17 persons, including 4 persons over 18 years of age, the rest Faces are children. The users of the services in the center were citizens from all over Bulgaria. Over a period of 12 months, cases have shown that such centers are essential and help and support injured parties, help them adapt to normal living conditions and overcome stress and mental disabilities.
All the necessary conditions for the normal life and rehabilitation of the victims of domestic violence have been created within the Crisis Center.
Completely renovated was the building where they were housed, furnished and equipped premises for the "Crisis Center" service - 2 bedrooms, rooms for group and individual therapy, office premises, bathrooms. Funding of the project through funds from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism will continue until April 30, 2017. The municipality applies for funding as a state-delegated activity, the persons accepted from the whole country, the policy for protection of the victims of domestic violence is state policy and is Impossible for a small municipality by population to finance such activity without the support of the state.
