Crisis center for victims of domestic violence was opened today. The Mayor of Aksakovo Eng. Atanas Stoilov, Regional Governor of the administrative center of Varna Stoyan Pasev, Director of the Regional Directorate MBP- Commissioner Pashov took part in the event. In Crisis Centre have created conditions for the provision of services, mobile team was set up to respond to crisis situations and pulling victims from the violence. The center will provide services for the citizens of Aksakovo and the citizens of the country. Aksakovo believes that this center is very important as an idea, the Council of Europe recommended that every 10,000 inhabitants must have created such centers. Statistics show that every fourth woman in Bulgaria is a victim of domestic violence, and centers in the country are only 18. Creation of such centers is very importan in nowadays , therefore the deteriorating economic situation, which is probably one of reasons for the increasing aggression, "said Nelly Petrova - project manager. The capacity of the center is 8 users, as they will take care of psychologists, social workers, administrative staff.
